xDownload (“we”, “us”) lets you extract and download publicly available videos from X (formerly Twitter) posts. This page explains what data we handle and how cookies are used on this site.
We do not require an account and we do not ask you for personal information.
The post URL you paste is used only to look up that post’s media and is not
stored by us. We keep a single value in your browser’s local storage
(cookieNoticeAck) to remember that you’ve seen the cookie notice.
To provide the service we send the post URL to third parties on your behalf:
This site displays ads through Adsterra, an advertising network. Adsterra and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, including ads relevant to your interests based on your activity, and to measure ad performance.
You can learn how Adsterra handles data and how to opt out in the Adsterra Privacy Policy. For broader controls over interest-based advertising, see aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu (EU/UK).
xDownload is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. “X” and “Twitter” are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe what the tool does.
xDownload is a tool for accessing publicly available media. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to download and for how you use it, including respecting copyright, the rights of the original poster, and X’s terms of service. We do not host, own, or moderate this content and accept no responsibility or liability for it.
We do not intentionally track, log, or retain the posts or files you download. The URLs you paste are used only to fulfil your request in the moment and are not stored by us. (As noted above, third parties such as Cloudflare may process request metadata to deliver and protect the service.)
You can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may mean you see less relevant ads but does not affect the core download functionality.
